Managed to catch a repeat of a drama serial featuring her while switching between channels on weekends.
To be frank, I will definitely prefer to hear her sing than act.
And actually Celest do have a rather good voice.
But the response given to her is far compared to other local singers.
Seems that It lies down to the image protrayed... Yes, she definitely stands out with her model features, but it happens to be her weakest link as well, she seems to be be less connected to her audiences.
Nevertheless, her singing capability should still not be diminished because of this.
Even though, I'm not really an avid fan of hers, I manage to get hold of 2 of her albums, both not under normal circumstances. Her debut one was at a second hand shop, and this was during a sale at a bookfair.
About this album...
听后感：
选曲水准属中上，但歌曲却没能够带出她声音的特质。
觉得她在诠释不同类型的歌曲时，口气似乎大同小异，没有强烈的个人风格。
但听得出她歌声是有尚未开发的潜能性，
接下来应该专注于如何为歌曲注入更深的情绪，
拉进她和听众的距离。
如要感动别人，必须先感动自己。
不要误会，整张专辑听下来其实是顺畅，舒服的。
只不过挑剔的耳朵，却听不到较为惊喜的部分。
如要点名的话，我会推荐Celest自己谱曲的“空心吉他”。
能听出她在音乐方面极力想呈现Attitude的一首歌曲。
